Renting a car at Casablanca Mohammed V Airport

In your message to the agency, give your flight number and terminal (1 or 2). The agency can then follow any delay and meet you at your actual arrival time.

Not every local agency has a desk in the terminal: most meet you in the arrivals hall and walk you to the car in the car park. Once your booking is confirmed, you see the agency’s phone number and agree the meeting point in your Darivo inbox.

Allow time for passport control and luggage before you come out. Tell the agency in the inbox if your flight is late or the wait runs long.

Take five minutes in the car park, even late at night. It is what prevents arguments at return.

• Walk round the car with the agent and have every scratch or chip written on the contract.
• Take photos and a short video, wheels and windscreen included.
• Check the fuel level and the return rule (full to full, or same level).
• Check the spare wheel, the vest and the warning triangle.
• Keep a copy of the signed contract, on paper or as a photo.

Agree the return time and place with the agency the day before, in the inbox. Leave a margin before check-in: the return, the inspection and getting your deposit back take a little time.

If your flight leaves early in the morning, ask the agency whether you can return the car the evening before.
